ITEC 2012 why attend?
title bottom

Every day everyone will be talking about only one thing—tires.

“Our industry needs to continue to be aggressive to remain competitive. It needs new “what if” ideas from making manufacturing operations more efficient to finding better ways of distributing the product. In 2010, ITEC becomes the one premier conference and exhibition our industry has lacked.”   Bob Simmons

More than 100 years ago, the tire was a white tube made from several piles of circular fabric, mostly canvas, and the sap of a tropical plant.

That high-tech item of its day created our industry and paved the way for so many people in so many ways from manufacturers to suppliers and through numerous sales and distribution channels.  Today, everyday, the tire touches the lives of not just millions but of billions of people around the world.  Wherever people are using vehicles, tires are being sold.

We created ITEC—the International Tire Exhibition and Conference in 1994 to help tire manufacturers focus on what really happens in the manufacturing of tires—the science, the technology, commitment and persistence that goes into turning an idea into the tire of the future.

As we have seen, wherever the development and performance of the tire goes, so goes the transportation and tire aftermarket industry.  That’s why ITEC 2010 is evolving to encompass everyone in the North American tire industry including:
► Independent dealers
► Commercial dealers
► Wholesalers
► Distributors
► Retreaders and recyclers
► Companies involved in aftermarket and equipment sales.

It’s All About Content
Working with our aftermarket conference chair, we will be developing a content-rich conference program to include state-of-the-art retailing, customer service, small business management, internet marketing, inventory control, marketing groups, automotive service, and much more.  We will have a host of outside speakers covering these topics and more with a very strong retailing bent.

ITEC is a great opportunity to network with your peers at other companies as well as tire dealers.  Mix and mingle with the people who sell tires and the chemists who deal with the space between the molecules and carbon black at breakfast or one of our receptions.  It’s an opportunity never before available in the tire industry.

A Serious, Working Tire Show Environment
ITEC 2010 will educate and motivate all participants with world-class exhibitors showcasing their complete product line from light truck  to mining, OTR, farm and industrial tires and, of course, passenger and high performance tires.

ITEC will be in September, traditionally the second slowest retail sales month of the year, so retailers and dealers can spend three days at an all-encompassing, working tire show embracing all aspects of the tire industry from cradle to grave.

The Best Value - $50 For Three Days:
Education, Exhibits and Networking

ITEC 2010 is by far the best value of any conference and trade show for the tire industry anywhere.  The fee to attend the three days of exhibits and conferences is only $50 and includes complimentary cocktail receptions, refreshments and our keynote address.  And Cleveland, Ohio, features lower airfare and hotel rates as well as lower costs for food and entertainment than most major U.S. cities.
