ITEC 2010

ITEC 2010 Overview
The tire touches the lives of not just millions but of billions of people around the world.  Wherever people are using vehicles, tires are being manufactured and sold.

ITEC—the International Tire Exhibition and Conference—was created in 1994 to help tire manufacturers focus on what really happens in the manufacturing of tires—the science, the technology, commitment and persistence that goes into turning an idea into the tire of the future.

Wherever the development and performance of the tire goes, so goes the transportation and tire aftermarket industry.  That’s why ITEC 2010 is evolving from an educational forum to encompass everyone in the North American tire industry from technology and manufacturing through distribution and recycling…literally from the cradle to the grave, including:

► Independent tire dealers and retailers
► Commercial dealers
► Wholesalers and distributors
► Retreaders and recyclers
► Businesses involved with off-the-road and farm segment
► Companies involved in aftermarket and equipment sales

The Best Value For Three Days Of Papers, Exhibits, Networking
ITEC 2010 is the best value of any conference and trade show for the tire industry anywhere.  The fee for tire dealers and distributors and personnel at tire manufacturing facilities anywhere in the world is only $50 and includes:

► Presentation by hundreds of renowned industry experts
► Three days of exhibits and other related activities
► Complimentary cocktail receptions, refreshments and other ITEC-sponsored events

The registration fee for suppliers and others is $200.

ITEC is a great opportunity to network with your peers at other companies as well as tire dealers.  Mix and mingle with the people who sell tires and the chemists who deal with the space between the molecules and carbon black.  It’s an opportunity never before available in the tire industry.

Cleveland, Ohio, features lower airfare and hotel rates as well as lower costs for food and entertainment than most major US cities.

It’s All About Content
ITEC’s aftermarket and manufacturing conference chairmen have developed a content-rich conference program from paper presentations helping tire manufacturers translate “what if” thinking into the vision, commitment and persistence that goes into turning an idea into a revenue-generating commercial success to topics and panels with a very strong retailing component and relevant presentations on all types of industry training.

A Serious, Working Tire Show Environment
ITEC 2010 will educate and motivate all participants with world-class exhibitors showcasing their complete product line from equipment, tire building machinery and compounds to light truck tires, mining, OTR, farm and industrial tires and, of course, passenger and high-performance tires.

ITEC 2010 is this September, traditionally the second slowest retail sales month of the year, and “down time” in the manufacturing cycle so retailers, dealers tire manufacturing personnel can spend three days at an all-encompassing, working tire show embracing all aspects of the tire industry from cradle to grave.

What will the tire industry be like next year or a hundred years from now?  No one knows.  But possibly someone who attends ITEC 2010—maybe you—will have a “what if” insight that will open the door to the future leading to finding better ways of training dealer personnel and educating consumers to innovations in producing and marketing this highly technical, highly engineered product that is so crucial to our way of life.
