Ray Evans has over 44 years’ experience in the tire industry, half of which was with BF Goodrich in key technical, marketing, and sales positions followed by ten years with Continental General. His last experience was with Titan International where he was Executive Vice President of Engineering, Marketing, and Sales and where he still serves as a consultant.
Ray has made numerous presentations and held workshops at tire dealer meetings, conventions, and the Clemson Tire Conference.
Ray is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Akron Area YMCA, a trustee for the Stow CIC (Community Improvement Corporation), and is on the Business Advisory Council at Kent State University.
After serving in the US Navy, Ray graduated from Penn State in Agricultural Engineering and later from Kent State with an MBA.
Ray and his wife, Jan, reside in Stow, Ohio.

Harold Herzlich

Conference Chairman
Harold Herzlich has served as the conference chairman for the International Tire Exhibition & Conference since its inception in 1994. He has been responsible for reviewing and selecting hundreds of papers focusing on manufacturing, technology, advancements in materials and production. He has brought innovative ideas to ITEC including Automotive Challenges, Mock Trials, and the inaugural ITEC Distinguished Technology Achievement Medal presentation in 2008.
Harold has a long and distinguished career in the tire industry. He first joined Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company (Akron OH) and went through their Squadron Training Program and Process Development Department. He then went to Armstrong Rubber Company (New Haven CT) as their Manager of Compound Development. His last position with Armstrong Pirelli was as the Director of Tire Engineering and Product Safety. In 1990, Mr. Herzlich founded Herzlich Consulting.
Harold is a past chairman of The Rubber Division, American Chemical Society (1982) and past chairman of The Connecticut Rubber Group (1966). He is a Life Member of the Rubber Division and Connecticut Rubber Group and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and American Academy of Forensic Science. He is listed in Who's Who in America and American Men and Women of Science. He is the Tire Industry Association (TIA) 2008 Friend of the Industry and Technical Editor of Rubber and Plastics News.
Harold is a graduate of New York University, College of Engineering with a degree in Chemical Engineering (1956). He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is the president of Elasphalt Corporation and Director of Tire Technology, N2Revolution.
Harold and his wife Carol live in Las Vegas NV.
