Conveniently located on the shores of Lake Erie, downtown Cleveland is less than 15 miles from the I-X Center (about a 15-minute drive). Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is less than three miles from the I-X Center.
Greater Cleveland, surrounded by the scenic "Emerald Necklace" park system, has a vibrant arts scene with an incredible off-Broadway theatre district, a world-renowned orchestra, opera, art museums, the National Science Center, The Cleveland Zoo, an abundance of live music clubs including the House of Blues and the Hard Rock Cafe, and of course, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum.
A diverse culinary scene offering everything from pierogi and walleye to gourmet four-diamond dining is within a 10-minute radius of the I-X Center.
Akron, OH, about 35 miles south of the I-X Center, is home to a number of tire technology centers including Goodyear, Bridgestone Firestone, Hankook and Kumho. Cooper Tires' technology center in Findlay, OH, is about an hour away.
The National Inventor's Hall of Fame and the world famous Firestone Country Club–the host course to the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational–are located in Akron. The National Football League Hall of Fame in Canton is less than an hour away. And Cedar Point, ”The Roller Coaster Capital of the World,” boasting 17 coasters including 3 of the top 10 steel roller coasters in the world, is an easy 50-mile drive on the Ohio Turnpike.

The Greater Cleveland Visitors Bureau will have a station at the I-X Center to help guests make dinner reservations, provide directions and offer discounts on a variety of entertainment options including The Cleveland Indians (if they are in town and seats are available), the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, and the numerous public golf courses that are within 20 minutes of the I-X Center.
