ITEC 2012 Tire Dealer Advisory Counsil

The real experts of the industry are the dealers and the network of sales people and technicians who are daily confronted by the issues that impact the business. We are enlisting the help of some of these seasoned veterans to help us form an advisory council to recommend subjects and speakers for the symposia and assist in the selection of aftermarket/distribution topics and papers to develop a curriculum that promises to be “hands on.”

The Tire Dealer Advisory Council includes:

		Ross Kogel Jr., president, Tire Wholesalers Inc., Troy MI Kogel joined TWI in 2003 after serving as executive vice president of the Tire Association of North America.
		Ron Lautzenheiser, owner of two Big O Tire stores and two Grease Monkey franchises, Ft. Collins CO Lautzenheiser is a past member of the board of directors of the Tire Industry Association and a former vice president of marketing for the former General Tire Co.
		Steve Disney, consultant, Louisville KY Disney is a past president of the Tire Industry Association (TIA), former president of Sure Tire Co. and past chairman of Sure Tire's executive committee. He is also the former owner of Disney Tire & Rubber Co. Inc. and former director of Raben Tire Co.'s wholesale division.
		Dennis Leipold, owner/president, Leipold Tire, Cuyahoga Falls OH Leipold is an established independent dealership, in business for 33 years.  He has two family-owned dealerships
		Peggy Fisher, president, TireStamp Corp., U.S. headquarters in Troy MI Fisher is the former president of TIA and currently on the TIA executive committee as past president. She is past president of the Roadway Tire Co. and past president of Fleet Tire Consulting.
		David Cosco, Chairman, Integra Tire, Edmonton, Alberta Canada Cosco was the founder and owner of Tirecraft Group.  Integra Tire has more than 50 dealer members in four western provinces:  Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
		Craig Knarich, owner of Pit Crew Tire, Palm Harbor FL Knarich operates a one-truck mobile tire installation business.
		Paul Hyatt, owner, Superior Tire, Scarborough, Ontario Canada Hyatt is the past President of TIA, the first TIA president from Canada.
